    Can't play Windows 10 Edition anymore even though I have it?


    I've had my minecraft account for a long enough time that I could get Windows 10 Edition free. For some reason, I can't play it anymore, and if I open it I'm told to buy it again. I don't understand since it's been working before completely fine.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Yeah your rig should have no issues running the game at all...I would say as others have suggested, completely re-installing the game and patches, then run dxwebsetup, and run pbsetup too...if you don't have those, go get them...both have helped me out with some problems before that were just aggrivating and annoying when trying to game such as the problem presented here.

    I have a bunch of buddies that still play BF2, on varying intel and amd rigs, old and new, they don't have issues anymore...but their rigs never change and about all they do is play BF2..lol, so now they're all good. But reinstalling, and updating pb and dx seems to help most when an issue arises. Also as suggested try running in windowed mode if it continues to see if you have an error message or check event viewer to see if anything is posted about the executable for bf2, etc. Hopefully you'll be back in the game sooner than later.
