Windows 10: Cant print A3 from WF-7610 and have tried the suggestions given. Only get the option of A4...

Can't print A3 from Epson WF 7710 with Windows 10

Trying to print on A3 through Windows 10 to Epson WF 7710. The option for A3 doesn't come up, only A4, Letter, Postcard and 2 other small sizes.

I've installed the latest software from the Epson website, restarted both the printer and laptop. I can choose the A3 option from the printer paper preferences, but not on the laptop.

Simple help please, I'm not very tech savvy. I expected an A3 printer to actually be able to print in A3 when I bought it...

I found this thread where the user was able to get A3 printing working by installing the driver from the included driver disc that came with the HP 7610.

First uninstall the current printer driver then proceed to reinstall from the disc.

Windows Key+X > Apps and Features / Programs and Features

Select your printer.

Select Uninstall.

Windows key+R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose Delete or Remove Device

Windows Key+R, type Cmd, hit Enter

Type printui.exe /s > OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

 

Printer not recognised as a Scanner or that it can print on A3

I have recently moved back from Mac OS to and new laptop with Windows 10.

I have two printers and a different problem with each:

i) HP Officejet 6500 E709n - this is working fine but is not recognised as a scanner as well as a printer, so I am unable to scan documents.

ii) HP Officejet 7500A - this prints ok, but the printer properties do not recognise that it can print on A3 - it doesn't appear as an option in the paper sizes. When added as a device it is listed as Unknown-94-fb-b (HP Officejet 7500 E910)...not sure if
there is any significance in it being Unknown?

Both printer drivers are up to date.

Any suggestions? Both issues are really frustrating, but especially the second.
