    Can't print to HP Officejet 4200 after upgrade to Windows 10


    I have an older USB connected HP OfficeJet 4200 all-in-one that worked fine for printing and scanning on my Windows 8.1 desktop. Since I upgraded to Windows 10, it can scan fine but when I try to print, it erroneously reports that printer is out of paper. I've tested it with another Win 8.1 laptop and it prints without a problem.
    I uninstalled and re-installed the printer. HP Print and Scan Doctor software tests scanning fine but hangs when trying to connect to the printer.
    All help is appreciated.

    After upgrading to Windows 10, I can no longer print on my HP Officejet Pro 8610. There are no printer drivers installed that will allow me to print. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Can't print to HP Officejet 4200 after upgrade to Windows 10

    I used HP Printer Install Wizard and it fixed the problem. I also found other solutions for this problem here.
