Windows 10: Cant Put PC into developer mode due to me being a part of an organization. i am not....

Hi all,


I am trying to enable sideloaded apps (for my editing software) and that requires me to be in developer mode. In red text it says that i am a part of an organization which i am not, this is a brand new computer.


Running Windows 10 home not pro so no i cannot access the gpeditor. and no forums on here or anywhere say how to do it. Most threads just end with them saying they are not going to mess with the PC so they dont ever fix it.


Anyone able to help?

Cannot turn off Developer mode - "managed by your organization"

Thanks for trying, dalchina. I appreciate it. I've seen that on the web and was going to try it, but the Network ID option is grayed out.

I have tried ticking the developer mode box as you suggested, then ticking "no" in the box, but nothing changes, as I recall I'd tried before. Also, AppModelUnlock is the same as yours. Here's a screen shot:





I'll try Brink's suggestion next.

 

How to enable developer mode in Windows 10

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App Package Deployment

What is developer mode

Hi,

I suggest you to start the computer in Safe mode from the Windows Recovery Environment.

Please refer the below link to start the computer in Safe mode and check if it fixes the issue:

Note: The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10 Insider Preview.

Once you have entered into the Safe mode then, open Command Prompt and enable Built in Administrator.

Follow the below steps to enable Built in Administrator:

• Open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment.
• Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.

net user administrator /active:yes

3. Close the Command Prompt.

4. Try to login though Built in Administrator and change the earlier password or you can create new user account.
