Windows 10: Can't Reactivate Retail Windows After Hardware Change / Can't Contact Support Agents

I changed my motherboard 2 days ago and reinstalled my windows.

now i can't transfer my linked windows license from one old hardware to new one.

Troubleshoot isn't working.

Microsoft only gives me an option to contact virtual robot assistant instead of a real agent.

"Talk to an Agent" Option only shows community and call me by functions. no chat.

i can't use call my back function since my country code isn't listed so they can't call me back.

The Windows 7 retail upgrade is a retail upgrade with transfer rights, even though its base license is also a retail Windows XP license.

Reactivate windows after hardware change

Since you have changed your motherboard, this is a hardware change.

1. If Windows was preinstalled i..e OEM version, then you can not use the license on another hardware. OEM license is tied to motherboard and if motherboard is changed, you can not reuse the same license on new motherboard.

In this case, you need to buy a new license.

2. But if it was Retail license, If you face problem in activation if you have Retail license, you can reach out to Microsoft Support for activation. They will reactivate from their side in Microsoft servers.

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."
