  1. Can't reactivate Windows 10 Pro after changing my PC hardware

Hello,I've recently changed some of my PC hardware motherboard, CPU, memory... so basically everything. Now Windows 10 Pro tells me it is not activated error code: 0xC004F213. I believe I got a digital license when I bought Win 10.I used to troubleshooter but it couldn't activate the OS, nor find a device from which to transfer the license.I must confess that I didn't prepare the "exception path" before making the change in my defence, it's not the first time I switch motherboards, and didn't run into any issue last time. So what can I do now?

    :)

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

Can't reactivate Windows 10 Pro after changing my PC hardware

Reactivating Windows 10 Pro after hardware change

I upgraded my hardware just today.

Changed pretty much all of it, new motherboard, CPU etc. and now my Windows isn't activated anymore. I get the 0xC004F211 error code.

Troubleshooting doesn't help, coming up with "We weren't able to activate Windows on this device." message.

Pressing I recently changed hardware on this device leads me to "Reactivate Windows 10" page, where I select my PC (the only one displaying on the list) and press Activate button.

This leads me "Unable to activate Windows" page.

We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later.

I did the free upgrade, when it was available.

I'm pretty sure that I have Windows 7 Pro key somewhere if that helps? Pretty sure I can find, not 100%.

All I know my Windows has been "Activated" for years.
