    Cant read Compact Flash drive on Win 10


    Have a 2 Gig Compact Flash drive I use with my Canon Digital Rebel XT camera that I can no longer read with Windows 10,
    Any idea how to recover my pictures from the Drive?

    Compact Flash Drive not read by softward HP Envy 700

    The built in compact flash drive of my HP Envy-700 appears to be not working. When I insert memory chip from camera and try to import photos, the software does not detect a drive or photos. Two weeks ago I was able to import photos from that same memory
    card inserted into the same drive in my computer. My operating system is Windows 10.

    Thoughts?

    SD and Compact Flash card reader not working in Windows 10

    Under Win 8.1 my USB card reader drives all worked fine. On upgrading to Windows 10 they are not recognised. On inserting an SD or Compact flash card into the drive I get the message "please insert a disc into drive". I have checked the SD cards and
    checked that the latest drivers are installed but now run out of ideas. The cards can be read using the Nikon or Sony cameras through the USB drive so the cards are OK. Can anyone help?

    Thanks for your response. As you may have read in my reply to another responder, I am trying to shrink the files on a small tablet's disk to enable the installation of Win 10 version 1803 feature update. Would be interested in hearing what your suggested
    compaction process would be.
