Windows 10: Cant reinstall Minecraft Starter Edition for Windows

A couple years ago I bought my son the green Gateway Laptop that included the Minecraft Starter Edition. After a couple months of not playing the game, we booted the pc back up and tried to run Minecraft. It kept giving errors saying Gold was required to play the game. This is just not true. Minecraft does not and never has required a gold subscription to play on PC. So, I uninstalled Minecraft. Then I went back to try and reinstall it from the store and it is no longer there. After some research, I've learned that Minecraft Starter Edition no longer exists. So what am I supposed to do

• Where did you redeem the code?
  
• Where and when you are getting this purchase prompt?

However, we would like to inform you that Minecraft Bedrock Edition is not available in Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store you will have the Minecraft Starter and Master collection.



If you have redeemed the code in Mojang website and installed the Bedrock edition from Mojang, then we will suggest you to reinstall the game from Mojang website and sign in with the same account, which was
used for redemption.



Minecraft Starter collection is all together a different game, which you have to purchase separately from Microsoft Store.



I would also suggest you to contact the Mojang support team for further assistance on this issue.

Accidentally purchased minecraft Windows edition instead of minecraft starter edition.

Can't Play Minecraft Starter Pack (Minecraft Windows 10 Edition)

So I've already owned minecraft windows 10 edition but for some reason I couldn't play online anymore and it always said I had to buy one of both packs.

So I bought Minecraft Starter edition, it's showing up in my Microsoft Store Library but minecraft still tells me to buy the game...

I already tried the following

5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you reinstall the game to manually update it.

I'd really hope there is a way to fix it since I feel kinda scammed at this point and I'm not willing to pay anymore money...
