Windows 10: Cant reinstall Minecraft windows edition.

recently i got minecraft to play with some friends on a realm and in the recent 1.18.10 patch for windows edition i wasn't able to use the realm. at first i thought it was my problem so i looked for an update but i couldn't see one. so then i tried uninstalling minecraft and reinstalling it in the hope that if there was an update it would automatically download. however, when i tried to install it again, the bar simply said "Error". i also later found out that i couldn't join the realm because it was out of date. it still says error and i have tried multiple things with no luck.i really need s

If you already played Minecraft from its previous PC or Mac version (running Java), you will be eligible to download Minecraft: Windows 10 edition for free. Normally, you'll be able to download the full version right after you redeem the Minecraft: Windows
10 Beta code to your Windows 10 computer. In your case, there's a possibility it doesn't detect the beta code that you redeemed. We recommend that you reset the Windows Store to clear the store cache on your computer by performing the following steps:

• Press  Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
• Restart your computer and reinstall the game.
