Windows 10: Can’t reinstall WiFi adapter even after restarting my computer and scanning for hardware...

After some problems with my wifi, i decided to uninstall my wifi driver expecting it to reinstall. After restarting my laptop and scanning for hardware changes, it wasnt reinstalled. I tried then connecting to ethernet, but i was still unable to access the internet. How can fix this problem? I have no restore points and resetting the pc and network drivers doesnt work. It wont even allow me to reset my pc. My computer is a 64 bit windows 10 and has a 802.11ac wifi adapter.

I currently own Hp pavilion p208tx. My WiFi adapter is not showing in the device manager and not even in settings. I restarted my laptop, installed the new realtek wifi adapter in device manager clicked on the option scan for hardware changes and still
it is not showing and my WiFi is not working.

 

Update made wifi adapter disapear

If the wifi adapter appears in Device manager without any warning triangle but there is no wifi section in Settings, Networks then reinstall the wifi adapter.

If the wifi adapter appears in Device manager without any warning triangle and there is a wifi section in Settings, Networks then use Settings, Update, Troubleshoot. I'd suggest this sequence:-
Hardware & devices
Network adapter
Internet connections

Do you have a WiFi hotkey or switch? Check with the system maker's support, docs, and forums.

Also be sure you are not somehow activating Airplane Mode. Check Start - Settings - Network & Internet - Airplane Mode - "Airplane Mode" set to Off and Wi- Fi devices set to On.

In Device Manager - Right Click "Network adapters" then Scan for hardware changes.

Could be your WiFi device has developed a hardware problem. If so a replacement USB device is inexpensive.
