Windows 10: Can't reinstall Windows 11 on ASUS Zenbook after installing Ubuntu

I recently did a clean install of Ubuntu 22.04.3 onto my new ASUS Zenbook Q420V which erased Windows 11. I later realized that I needed to reinstall Windows 11, so I created a boot disk using the Windows Media Creation tool and was able to get thru the first few steps in setup until getting stuck at "Custom: Install Windows only" as there were no drives listed to install Windows. I'm not sure if installing Ubuntu changed some configurations on my laptop but I've tried disabling Secure boot and Fast boot, creating a win 10 boot disk, reinstalling Ubuntu, creating a partition of my SSD in FA

Asus Zenbook UX305 touchpad multitouch functions stopped working.

Asus Zenbook UX305 touchpad multitouch functions stopped working. I suspect windows update cause problem. Any suggestions to solve. Asus helpdesk ask me to reinstall windows. But I cannot as lot of data is in the PC. Appriciate help if some one can suggest
to resolve.

 

Fingerprint scanner on Asus Zenbook UX370U is not working after installation of Windows 11

I have done a fresh install of Windows 11 on my Asus Zenbook UX370U and since then the Fingerprint scanner stopped working working.

This scanner worked with Windows 10 (also had issues getting it to work).

I have installed drivers from ASUS website (Goodix driver), but nothing helps.

Any advice except waiting for a fix on Windows ?

 

Windows Install - Can’t find SSD driver

I’m trying to install Windows on an Asus Zenbook Q409. When I get to the step to select the storage device and partitions, there are no storage devices listed, but it gives the option to browse for drivers. I confirmed that the SSD is functioning as it is listed in both the UEFI and works fine in an Ubuntu live boot. The SSD is a WD SN 735. When I search for this SSD the closest result I get is a SN730. Where can I find the driver for the WD SN735?

I’ve tried this with both Windows 10 and 11 bootable USBs.
