Windows 10: Can't remember local password, normally use pin. Windows not booting up after entering pin...

Like the title says, I cannot remember my local password. Windows also won't boot even in safe mode. I'm currently logged into the account posting this right now so it must be an old password. Installed a windows update last night and now this is happening. Can't do a system restore or uninstall update as it asks for my password to do this. Windows 11.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

Is it possible not to enter the password/PIN at Window startups?

You may have missed a step. After the un-check, click apply, then the next screen will ask for the Pasword twice. Enter and OK. Then OK again. That should do it.

 

Remember PIN but forgot password

So, I remember my PIN for my account, which is an Administrator type Account, but I forgot my password. I tried reseting my password but because it asks me to enter my forgotten password, i can't reset my password. And also, my windows
user isn't connected with my Microsoft Account yet, so it is impossible to change my local password from this website. I am currently using
Windows 10, latest version. And as long as I remember, I never change my password and I still remember it very well, but windows said that the password is incorrect, and since I've been using PIN for a long time, i forgot if
I changed the password or not. Please help, Thank you very much.
