    Can't remove an incorrect email reference in Win 11


    When setting up my new computer, I incorrectly used the wrong email address, and it seems stuck in "My Info"...That isn't a working email. I got the domain incorrect. I checked everywhere and it seems my email for this account is proper everywhere else. I did see this on the online area for my account...Under Email & Accounts on the computer itself I see this...I can't figure out how to remove that one, or at the very least get it changed. The only one I want for this log in or account is "optimum" not "optonline". Any thoughts?

    Let's continue working on this. We suggest that you remove the email account on the phone and add it back again by following these steps:

    To remove your email account:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap email + accounts.
    3. Press and hold the email that you want to remove.
    4. Select delete.
    5. Confirm by selecting delete again.

    To add your email account:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap email + accounts.
    3. Tap add an account.
    4. Tap the type of email your going to add.
    5. Type the email address and password.
    Make sure you're connected to the internet when performing these steps.

    Note: Removing the account will delete all the information associated with it.

    Let us know how it goes.

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
