Windows 10: Can't remove-change from-Dark Mode

    Can't remove-change from-Dark Mode


    Windows 10 Home
    Customer got PC into Dark Mode and I can't change it back.
    Settings/ Color/ Choose your app mode.
    Can't change here from the Dark to Light. Click "Light" doesn't do anything.
    Actually, I can't change anything on that page.
    Slides don't slide.
    Tried Reg change, didn't work.

    Cortana `Ask me anything` is always white

    I've noticed it changes between black or white when you change the theme color/default app mode from Light to Dark: All Settings --> Personalization --> Colors --> "Choose your default app mode". Toggling that between Light and Dark changes the Cortana
    search box color accordingly. Guessing it's a design update.

    Lumia 950 display tinge / purple - yellow hue

    Yes, i had changed it from light to dark mode. Infact i used dark mode setting for regular use. Still problem persisted. Screen brightness Doesnt change much the hue problem. The hue is observed mostly when you have a white screen. Eg. In Edge, Word.etc.
    When the phone is turned ON (after a restart) i noticed a Red hue in the bottom of the screen when the rest of the screen is dark. This happened every time.

    Go to Settings/Ease of Access and see if it is in High Contrast mode
