Windows 10: Can't remove old phone from Phone Link

Recently, I replaced my old Samsung Galaxy A13 phone with a Google Pixel 8a and linked it with my PC using the QR code in Phone Link. Even though the Link to Windows app on my new phone says that it is linked to my PC, it doesn't show up in Phone Link. Also, my old phone is still shown in Phone Link, even though I unlinked my old phone from the PC. How can I remove my old phone from Phone Link and add my new phone?

Looking for a decent phone

For your usage I would suggest an Android phone with removable battery and microSD card slot ... Samsng Galaxy S3 is fine phone and should become cheaper soon with S4 around the corner.

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.
