Windows 10: Can't remove or restore file

Windows defender quarantined a file for utorrent. I looked into defender to see where it went and I saw it had been quarantined. When I clicked the "restore file" button I then attempted to open the file and got this message "This file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software and cannot be opened. Due to the nature of this virus or potentially unwanted software, the file has been removed from this location." I tried deleting the file and the same message appeared. I tried running as administrator, I tried editing the properties to allow me to edit it and the dialog box keeps popping u

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Restoring the PC has removed most files for Windows 10 apps.

Windows has a built-in anti-virus software installed on your device called
Windows Defender after you upgrade to Windows 10. Windows defender works just like other anti-viruses that are available in the market.



Method 1: Since the files are located in Program files at
C: drive you will not have control to delete the Kaspersky files as it is a system controlled files.



I suggest you to download the Removal tool to uninstall Kaspersky files from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.

Method 2: If the issue persists, I suggest you to perform Undo System Restore option by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

  Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  System option.
  
• 
  Select System protection from the left side panel of the window and click on
  System Restore.
  
• 
  Check Undo System Restore option and follow the on-screen instructions.
  
• 
  The PC will restart. Check if the changes are effective.
  

Note: Take back up of all your data before performing
Undo System Restore. Performing the above steps, PC will
restart immediately for the effective changes to take place. After the PC is restarted and is at Desktop, click on
Close and continue using the OS.

Windows does not remember the last place I saved quickbooks files.

I thought it was unusual as well, but documented by QB.

If you see Error -6123,0 while restoring your company file

Step 1: Remove special characters from the file name

Make sure your backup company file name:

• Is 30 characters or less
• Doesn't have any special characters or spaces

Step 2: Restore your company file

If you’re restoring your company file from a backup (.qbb):

• Move the backup file to your local hard drive. Don’t open them from an online storage folder or a removable drive.
• Follow the steps to restore your company file from a backup.
