Windows 10: Can't remove security key

Hello, when I signed into a Microsoft site today a popup asking for my Windows Hello pin wich is fine.

Biut under the pin option is, "use secure key" when i select it, it asks me to insert said usb key...


I do not have one or have never set one up.

On windows 10 in accounts > sign-in options, it shows the Security Key option as setup.

When I click "Manage" to try and remove it, it says "insert security key into the USB port"


I don't have one and have not ever set one up, I only use the pin option.


So how can i remove this security key if i don't have one in the first place.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

Do I need to download a special removal tool to get rid of AMPxchange?
