Can't Remove "Send To" & "Pin To Start" From Context Menu

I just did some testing, and yep "Pin to Start" doesn't seem to behave the same in Windows 10.

I'll add this to my list of tutorials to hopefully get it figured out, and will post back when found.

Wow, that was quick *Biggrin. Thanks! If it's not too hard, could you do same to "Send To"? It reappears after some time....

EDIT: Both "Pin To Start" & "Send To" reappears after ~3 hours......

Are they only returning after a reboot?

If so, are you getting a user profile error, and actually only in a temp user profile that's getting cleared after each restart?

You have some other unknown issue at hand then. This would not be automatically added back by default unless something you have installed may be doing so.

I checked process explorer and there's no process that could cause such behavior. Maybe win10 automatically "fixes" changes made to certain parts of registry?

Not for that. When it's removed, it should stay that way until manually restored. Something is undoing your changes, but I just don't know what it could be.

  10. You are very helpful, thanks! Do you know any way I could find what's causing those changes? *Smile

I'm not sure other than keeping a close eye on what's running when it happens to see if anything specific stands out each time.

  12. ESET NOD 2 probably can't do this, as it's only app besides firefox that is open now. Maybe something in task scheduler......

I'd lean towards some sort of program that has the ability to undo changes.

  14. Okay, thanks for everything, but i just can't find what causes problem. One last question: Do you think task - RegIdleBackup (in taskscheduler) can cause this?
