Windows 10: Can't remove son from wife's Microsoft family account see error message below

I originally created a Microsoft family account, added my son. My wife then moved his account over to her Microsoft account our accounts are separate and not connected which created a slew of issues especially when it comes to managing his time on the local pc level and family app. So when I went to remove him from her account so I can add him back to my account, I get the following error -Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Jack can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted Jack co

I would want you to again try to add the wife's account and then post the error screen shot in the community website for us to understand the issue.

Please login first to Windows 8 as an administrator/parent account to add an account.

Follow these steps and check if you can:

• 
  Sign in to
  Family Safety website.
  
• 
  Tap on the account you want to remove from the family.
  
• 
  Tap Remove family member.
  
• 
  A message appears to ask if you’re sure. If you are sure, tap Remove.

When you say cannot sign in to the account, do you receive any error message or code when you try to sign in.

In Windows 10, Remove people from your Microsoft account family: Follow the steps.

• From a web browser, go to
  http://account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with the Microsoft account of an adult in the family.
• To remove a child, choose Remove at the top of the section labeled
  Select a child to view or edit their settings.
  
  To remove an adult, including the account you used to sign in with, choose
  Remove at the top of the Adults section. If you're the only adult in the family, you'll need to remove all the kids before you can remove yourself.
• Select the person you want to remove from the family.
• Select the Remove button that appears when you've chosen the person to remove.

Removing Microsoft Family Account

I cant get access to any of my kids in the Family Account feature. There is only the ability to 'add members' not remove.

A moderator in response to another suggested the following fix.

"We appreciate your response. To further troubleshoot your concern with Microsoft Family Protection, we suggest that you disable the Family Safety feature using Command Prompt. To do so, Follow these steps:

1. Press Windows key+ X, then click on Command Prompt (Admin). If ymanually ou are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Yes.
2. In the Command Prompt window, enter these commands:

schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyMonitor" /Disable

schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefresh" /Disable

3. Restart your PC.

Unfortunately for me, this does not work.

I get an 'error access is denied', ERROR: Invalid syntax. '/Change' option is not allowed more than '1' time(s) and finally ERROR: The specified task name "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefresh" does not exist in the system.

How do i solve this problem?
