Can't rename my hard drives i think?

Yea this is strange i tried renaming my 500 GB SSD i just popped in, i have total ownership administrator rights, BUT when i right click select properties type in new name Documents "msgbox you need permissions bla bla" press ok, BUT NO NAME CHANGE.
hmm i tried my other hard drives same no name change and i am the owner, so started looking around for something heavy to bash my "naughty" PC with, but nothing heavy within reach "i wonder why" but i thought okay lets try from Manage Computer ill let the Picture tell the story Top view is from Computer Manage bottom view is File Explorer I am not sure if i should laugh or *Biggrin well if someone can explain it please do this is not a help thread but i hope someone has a good explanation have a look for ur self

    Filename change

Don't rename or make any changes to files or folders unless they are on your hard drive with Office tools available. Rename files or edit them on the hard drive and copy the renamed files to removable media but make a new folder on the flash drive first
instead of renaming the folder on the hard drive and just copy the files to it. Office files are more complicated with hidden backups so you can't manipulate them on a flash drive.

  3. Admin Rights for Renaming Music

I'm on a normal user account (no admin privileges) and whenever I try to rename any file in Videos, Pictures, Downloads and Documents it's fine, but I can't rename a file in Music with out Admin Permission which is really annoying because I listen to a lot
    of music. I did install

a separate internal SSD hard drive with Windows installed on and added the libraries manually so they were on my 1TB first hard drive.

The partition is hidden. You won't see it in File Explorer

This is a special Recovery partition and suppose to be hidden. This partition contains the Recovery environment for Troubleshooting and diagnostic.
Disk Management also shows that this partition is 100% free space which is incorrect since all files/folders are also hidden.
    Don't mess with it.

Okay i was not clear enough both images are taken at the same moment meaning the image in PC manage has the correct name Documents but the file explorer did not show changes so it was still named SSD. i did find out 1 thing when i rebooted name changed into the correct but it should not be necessary and as i found out by using the Inbuilt Administrator AC Windows can behave even run outstanding.

Now if only i could remember why i have a text file in my Documents saying "DO NOT RUN THIS CMD net user administrator /active:yes" okay jokes aside my PC is now behaving without any hiccups or hard drives playing hide and seek everything works as it should my PC is a Joy to use.
So my normal user ac must be fubar no problems del the crap and make it again well in a world with no hunger and no poverty that would probably work to bad we do not live in LALA Land where rivers taste of chocolate no one starves okay to much *Biggrin but we live in MS Twilight Zone and things are never as easy as del ac make new ac there is a prob with the permissions for some reason well it looks like a syntax error i can't put my finger on it but the ac with my ms ac is made wrong but nm i will use the Eru AC "Administrator AC" for those not into the whole Middle earth world i just have to remember not to do something stupid like the last time i used this if only i could remember what i did ohh yea now i remember hehe yea taking ownership of my c drive did not go well *Biggrin

Okay small update seems i am not the owner of C:\users\ SYSTEM is and in fact i am not even mentioned but users are they have read write okay not and issue i am also in the administrators group so move a long okay the appdata lol i have read and execute but also full control
this one C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming now i think we can all agree on the importance to have full control being able to write to this folder is sort of essential well i have read and execute so that explains why i am unable to perform normal duty's i suppose i could just use the admin ac and give full control to my ms ac right guys? should work in fact i could just give the top folder C:\Users\ FC
But wtb the C:\Users\ i am not even listed in security?

Can't rename my hard drives i think?

Last update i really really hate MS some times the reason for the permission trouble is *Biggrin rdy THE WHOLE USER FOLDER IS SHARED why or how that has happend ???? but that ofc explains it hmm so much trouble just because share perms overrule everything else, but now i have to check the log and see who or what app person shared the user folder i never share my folders i have a Nas, well wasted the whole night ranting at MS what ever they might still be at fault the user folder did not get Shared by Santa and his reindeer's So lets just say Merry Christmas to all except the mofo that shared my User folder and i have a idea what app did that so i move to another forum and express my views on faulty software or lack of common sense.
Okay story time over i have a fix i know the problem, so ill leave it at that and call my mom and say thx for the shirts yea i am 44 years old and mom still buys me Christmas presents i do not have the heart to tell her i am all grown up okay she might disagree on that also *Biggrin and my 21 year old daughter prob also disagrees on that fact so lets just say Merry Xmas and a Happy New year try not to burn of your eyebrows or worse all you young ones OKAY i have to stop watching monty python late at night *Biggrin
