Windows 10: Can’t reset or repair computer. It says password is wrong when it is not.

Computer has black screen once logged in and I can only see the mouse. I am trying to do Start Up Repair or System Repair etc. The problem is no matter what it says my password is incorrect. It’s the password I use to login the account, I even changed my password through Microsoft but it continues to state it is incorrect. I can’t even Reset the PC and it’s become unusable. Is there a separate way to access a factory reset without a password or a way to change the password for the safemode settings since it seems to be different than my login for Microsoft.
