    Can't resume video in Windows Movie & TV app


    Hi,

    I really like the default video player in Windows - "Movies & TV" however whenever my pc I guess sleeps I always get an error on trying to resume video. This has been happening for awhile, through various updates. I am updating Windows now but I have little faith it will resolve on its own.

    How to resume a video download in the Video app

    I bought some TV episodes ahead of a long flight this week.

    I can't download the episodes onto a Surface Pro 2 because of a known bug in the Movies & TV app (aka Films & TV).

    So I have to download them onto my Windows Phone 8.1. Trouble is the phone locks after 5 minutes of inactivity and when I unlock it the video download remains paused. The only option to kick-start it is to delete what's downloaded already and start again,
    and them remember to scroll the screen every few minutes to prevent it from locking.

    Honestly, the things you have to do to avoid using iTunes!

    Does anyone have any suggestions here as to how to resume an interrupted movie or TV episode download in the WP8.1 "Video" app?
