Windows 10: Can't Reverse "Windows Update Managed by Organization" on Server 2012 r2

Evening folks, so here's what's happenin:Server 2012 r2, we once were using Kaseya to manage updates. We parted with Kaseya but when trying access Windows Updates we're met with the aforementioned warning that those settings are "managed by an organization".Here's what's been tried:Group Policy: Making sure that all Windows Update settings are left "Unconfigured"Regedit: Locating and wiping out "AU" keys. What's "interesting" here is that under HKLM ...windows/currentversion/policies, "explorer" exists but nothing pertaining to windows update. I've scoured the internet and I'm not finding any

I have purchased the product key of Windows Server 2012 R2. Now the server is on Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation. I found a few links there they explained on how to convert from Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation to Windows Server 2012 R2 with valid product

Is this a correct way to do? If I follow this step, will my data be erased?

I want to avoid formatting/fresh Windows install because there are some software in the server that we do not know how to backup. We just want to get it activated now, backup will be sorted out later.

Windows Server 2012 R2 Server Manager Failed to retrieve the list of roles and components

Windows Server 2012 R2 Server Manager Failed to retrieve the list of roles and components while I'm trying to Add roles and features.

Also it doesn't give me a list from Windows Powershell (running as Admin): Get-Windows Features - ntProviderException.

sfc /scannow, RestoreHealth, SFCFix.exe
did not help.

Help me, please!
