Windows 10: Can't run games on host machine while Hyper-V is running

Hi

So, I just made a W10 VM with Hyper-V and it's running fine (I only assigned it 1 core and 1.5GB of memory). The VM is running a background process that consumes nothing, it's basically idling.

Now I go back to the host machine and I can't start any game. None. They all crash/freeze with a black screen as soon as I open the exe. Ofc they all ran fine before. I closed the "screen" window of the VM, I only have the Hyper-V Manager with the VM in the background. WTF? I don't get it. I assume Hyper-V is taking up the GPU or something? Only games don't work, other programs are fine. Yet GPU usage in the task manager is 0%. CPU usage 5-10% and memory 52% (I have 8GB, all the games I'm trying to run are old enough, 4GB left should be plenty). Any ideas?

Cannot turn off Hyper V, cannot run Virtual Box machines or VMWare machines

Since the latest update:

Edition: Windows 10 Pro

Verion: 1607

OS Build: 14393.222

I can no longer turn off Hyper V and thus cannot run Virtual Box machines or VMware machines.

When I attempt to turn off Hyper V and restart Windows as requested, Windows simply re-enables Hyper V.

Then when I try to run a Virtual Box machine, I get an error like this:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Centos 70.

VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

When I try to start a VMware machine, I get this:

VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role from the system before running VMware Player.

But as I have noted, I am not able to turn off Hyper-V since the Anniversary Update.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Hyper-V, VM, Virtual Machine

You will have to ensure the Virtual Machine is running and connected to the Internet.

This means the physical host, the machine itself must be connected.

Hyper-V with OpenVPN on Host Machine

I'm running Windows 10 Build 10565 with Hyper-V role. My PC(Host Machine) has an assigned IP with MAC binding, and a data limit. So I use OpenVPN with IPv6 to get unlimited access to the Internet(through a VPS remotely). That's to say, I have a physical
Network Card and a Virtual Network Card(TAP-V9 by OpenVPN) before the Hyper-V installed. When I launched a VM, I could not get access to the Internet on it(running Win7) in any configuration of virtual NIC. Besides, if I set the Virtual NIC with the physical
network card in external mode, it would also break the OpenVPN access. So how do I config the Hyper-V Virtual NIC to get it work?

Any Advise would be appreciated.
