  1. Can’t run start up repair/restore

My PC appears to have something wrong with C drive or so I believe. I can log in, access the internet, can access internet. When I log in it starts with a black screen and cursor, which I’m informed I need to do a start up repair. However system settings won’t open so I’m guessing that’s why the password hasn’t updated on the machine. Is there a way to do this, making another user? Or do you need to be the a

    Hi,

    • Run
      Command Prompt as Administrator.

    • Type
      sfc /scannow
      and hit
      Enter.

This will check and run an auto-repair on the issue.

    Method 2:

    After running the

    • Type the following command:

      • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /scanhealth

      • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    NOTE:
This might take a while to finish scanning.
    Do not cancel.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

    Can’t run start up repair/restore

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Does it mean my HDD is useless?
