To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

For Windows 10 Mobile:

• Launch to File Explorer app.
• Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

For Windows Phone 8.1:

• Download and install
  Files app.
• Launch Files app.
• Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.

In order to narrow down the cause of issue, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

1. Does the Mail App reflect all other emails from this sender except this particular email?
   
2. Could you try sending a test email with a different attachment with the same file extension and see if it reflects in Mail App?
   
   
   
   Meanwhile, we would suggest you to try following steps mentioned below and check.
   
   
   

1. Click on Settings (gear like icon).
   
2. Click on Focused Inbox (If not available, first click on
   Reading and you would see).
   
3. Turn off toggle switch under Sort messages into Focused and other.

Unable to open PowerPoint attachments received from Emails on Windows 10

As the above description is not clear I understand that you are unable to open the PPT attachments received on emails.

Provide us additional information to understand the issue and assist you better:

• How exactly are you trying to access Emails (Mail app, Outlook.com, Windows Live Mails, Mail Client version of Outlook)?
• What is the complete error message/ error code while trying to access attachments?
• Is this issue confined only with PPT attachments from any specific sender?

As a workaround let us try few of the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

If you are accessing emails from Outlook.com, try to log-in with different browser and check if the issue persists. This will let us know if the issue is with the browser.

If you are using Mail app/ Windows Live Mail/ Office Outlook, try to access any other email attachments and check if the issue persists. This will let us identify if the issue is specific to the attachments.

Also, you may ask the sender to try opening the attachment and check if he/ she is able to. As this issue might have occurred if the sender has not attached the file properly.
