Windows 10: can't select text properly with ctrl+shift since past few months

Discus and support can't select text properly with ctrl+shift since past few months in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; so recently i got this weird issue where i can't select more than one line by holding ctrl+shift then tapping the up arrow key, it's been 2-3 months...     can't select text properly with ctrl+shift since past few months


    so recently i got this weird issue where i can't select more than one line by holding ctrl+shift then tapping the up arrow key, it's been 2-3 months since this and i have done clean install twice in meantime which didn't fix it. I am wondering if my keyboard developed a defect or something

    How do I select and copy paste text from sms or email?

    Thanks for your reply but the following shortcuts dont work on nokia e-5 when i select text and try to copy while composing an sms or email



    General shortcuts

    • Ctrl + C - Copy text.
    • Ctrl + V - Paste text.
    • Ctrl + X - Cut text.
    • Ctrl + A - Select all.

    Generic Text Getting Pasted when Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

    This is been happening for a week now. When I do Ctrl+C once, it copies and pastes the above generic text but when I do Ctrl+C twice the text that I have selected gets copied and pasted. However, when I do Ctrl+V again the generic text reappears in the
    paste screen again.
