Windows 10: Can't set my monitor to 240Hz

I just bought this new 240 Hz LC27RG50FQUXEN and I can't set it to any value higher than 240Hz. I tried so many things but to no avail, I tried turning Adaptive-sync off, I tried turning V-sync off, I had the ability to set it to 144hz but with DP Version 1.1, whenever I set the DP Ver to 1.2 I can't set it any higher. I also noticed that on my monitor's menu, the DP Ver 1.2 has an arrow pointing upwards as if it's needing an update or something. I also am using the cable that came with the monitor which is a DP.

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
