Windows 10: Cant set password to my wind 11 pro

HelloDuring wind11 pro installation I used my email account.I wasn't asked to set password to my machine - only windows "Hello" pin.But when trying to access this machine by remote desktop - it turns out that password is a must, "Hello" is not supported. Same for accessing a shared folder in the network.I tried to setup a password but i get the following msg : "Ask your admin to review the license and turn on this feature." There is NO admin , I just used my domain name to have an organization email and I used this email during wind setupPleas advice , how can I setup a password to my machine

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

Wind 10 Pro

I have up graded from Wind 7 pro to Wind 10 Pro. I now have to format my H/D because of Malware issues I don't have the disk, does it mean I have

to pay $220. for a copy of Wind. 10?

Passwords Loop: Gone With The Wind

It's a PIN for a Microsoft Account or three questions for a Local account. If you set up Windows using a Microsoft Account then Setup will insist that you set up a PIN with no option to skip this step.

If you use a Local Account to set up Windows once you have set a password you have to add a hint for the password then set up the three questions. There is no option to skip these steps.

However, if you set a blank password there is (obviously) nothing to forget so Setup will skip asking you to set up a hint or the questions. There is no indication in Setup that this is what it will do if you use a blank password, but that is the way it will work.
