  1. Can't set time; managed by org

I go to settings> time and language> date and time> "setting managed by org" I am the global admin of my org, and I looked and looked all over my admin settings and couldn't find anything. I can change it in control panel, but as soon as I close the lid, lock, sign out, restart or sleep, it changes back to 6 hours behind. This is an organizational-owned computer running windows 10 business.

    :)

Remove "some settings are managed by Org" in Windows Update

Hello chideock, Can't set time; managed by org :)

The ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate DWORD is set to 0 in that registry key by default, so that wouldn't be the issue.

Since "View configured update polices" doesn't have anything listed, you might see if clicking on "Check for updates" in Windows Update may refresh and clear the "some settings are managed by Org" message.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Fluctuating Time Zone Setting

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

I would suggest you to check if the values for “set time automatically” and “set time zone automatically” under Date and Time settings are “ON”. If not, then suggest you to make the vale to “ON” and check for the status.

If the issue still persists, follow the steps provided below:

    • Press Windows key + R, type services.msc and press Enter.
    • Locate Windows Time from the list and double click on the service.
    • In Genereal tab, set the Startup type to Automatic.
    • Click on Apply and OK.

Hope the information is helpful. Feel free to write to us for any other assistance with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.
