Windows 10: Can't set up email accounts - error codes 0x8007139f and 0x80004005

Hi - my email stopped syncing at some point over the summer when my Surface wasn't getting used much. I couldn't make it sync so followed all the Microsoft troubleshooting advice - made sure system was up to date, ran App troubleshooter, turned off Windows Defender etc. I then ended up having to reset the Mail app. I now can't set up any of my 3 email accounts. For the Yahoo and Gmail accounts I get error message 0x8007139f, and for my Live account I get error message 0x80004005. Also the Mail window keeps disappearing half way through installing. I don't seem to be able to access Microsoft Help in any meaningful way, so would be grateful for any advice please

How To Fix 0x80004005 Error?

Error 0x80004005 is an unspecified error that normally occurs seen when the user cannot access Shared Folders, Drives, and also when Windows Updates fails to install. With this in mind, we would like to know more details:

Error Code: 0x8007139f

When I try to scan my PC , it says that the scan could not be started and "the group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation." and displays the Error Code 0x8007139f.

I several times restarted the computer but it shows same Error Code 0x8007139f.

i am using

WINDOWS 10 Operating System (64 bit)
