Windows 10: Can't set up laptop without work or school account

I'm unable to get past the "Let's set things up for your work or school" as I don't have an email it will use. I only have a personal email account, which it won't accept. How do I combat this? Thanks.

Unlink School Account

You don't have to worry about your school account linked to your laptop. As long as it is not listed under "Access Work or School" it is fine.

 

Logging into school account changed my settings/policies on home PC.

Are you sure you have removed that school account

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Emails and Accounts, is there is a school Email listed there

Select Access Work or School, is there is a school Email listed there

 

Seperate Personal Microsoft Account from School Account
