Windows 10: Can't setup windows hello

    Can't setup windows hello


    My laptop has a fingerprint scanner and i was using it to sign in my local account.

    I accidentally removed my fingerprint and now when i press on set up a small grey window of windows hello pops up for for few seconds and closes on its own.

    I know my hardware is working and drivers are updated as i created another local account and set up my fingerprint there.

    Windows Hello Fingerprint Setup not working

    I have same issue with my laptop HP DV6 Pavilion.WIndows hello finger print setup is not working even after this above solution .When i setup finger print sensor i recieve error something went wrong.

    Cannot setup windows hello

    I've looked up ways to setup Windows hello online and have done every step but i still cannot setup windows hello even though i have set up both Password and PIN. Can somebody please tell me where i did wrong

    Not able to setup Windows Hello PIN

    We suggest that you create a new account (local) and try to setup Windows Hello and see if it has the same issue.

    Update us after performing the suggestion.
