Windows 10: Can't share drive C from one laptop to another

I can share other folders and even another drive D, but somehow, I can't success to share drive C.What could be the problem? One laptop is Win10 and the other is Win11.Thank you!

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Press Windows +E,
  
• 
  Right click on C: drive.
  
• 
  Select Sharing Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced Sharing.
  
• 
  Uncheck “Share this folder”.

  Are you connected to Domain network?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R, type fsmgmt.msc.
• Select Shares and right click on C$.
• Select Stop Sharing.

Windows Share Drives not listed out in GetLogicalDriveStrings C API

Not able to get share drive information from GetLogicalDriveStrings C API,

Environment Details:

Windows Server 2012 R2 (2 Machine connected in same network)

Reproducible Steps:

• Machine 1: Windows Server 2012 R2:

Created Folder (MICRO_TEST) -> RIght Click "Share With" -> "Specific People" -> Selected "Everyone" -> ADD -> Permission Level "Read/Write" -> Share -> Done

Copied Network Share Path from folder properties (Sharing tab):

\\<HOSTNAME>\micro_test

• Machine 2: Windows Server 2012 R2:

This PC -> Manage Tab -> Map Network Drive -> Map Network Drive -> Drive (U -> Folder ( \\<HOSTNAME>\micro_test) -> Browse -> Selected (MICRO_TEST) -> Ok -> Enabled "Reconnect at sign-in" -> Finish.

File System in Drive Properties: NTFS

• Executed program Machine 2 : Identified all local drives ( A:, C: and D: ) except MICRO_TEST share drive letter (U
