Windows 10: Can't share my screen on apps

I got a new laptop recently and I shared my screen on an app called kast and discord. It worked perfectly and I watched movies with my friend. The next day, I tried sharing my screen again but the apps just crashed. I don't know what to do and i'm very scared because this is a new laptop!

Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
