Windows 10: can't sign in to computer with microsoft account or use any programs from microsoft store

I noticed a few months back I can't access any part of my microsoft account directly from windows 10 at all I get a constant microsoft servers are down error all the time I don't know what is causing it but I get my updates just fine and can use the internet just fine as long as it is not using any part of the core login to microsoft that comes with windows 10 this is insane since that means I can't scan documents and can't use any other programs that are provided by microsoft exept one drive and edge they are the only working ones as far as I know

Yes. When you sign in to the Store with a Microsoft account like in step 5 in Option Two of the tutorial below instead of switching to a Microsoft account you will and stay a local account.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
