Windows 10: Can’t sign in to desktop

I haven’t logged on to my desktop for a long time and forgot my password i normally access emails via my tablet with face recognition. I have just successfully changed my microsoft password but still can’t logon to the desktop. I can log on to my account via my phone but when i use the same password on the desktop it will no longer allow me to logon. It comes up with a message saying ‘You can’t sign in to your device right now. Go to account.com.live to fix the problem. My husband who is the administrator has no problems with access. Not sure if the password access problem is linked but my

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
