    Can't sign in to my desktop


    Hi,I created my own desktop a few years back while I was in University and I used a Free Education Windows image that our university provided and it worked great. However, after graduating I've had it happen a few times where I am unable to sign in.When trying to log into my desktop, I get the following message:"You can't sign in with this account. Try a different account"And nothing I do seems to let me log in.The first time this problem occurred it lasted for a about a day, but the current lockout has lasted over a few days and I am still unable to access my desktop.Is this related to it bei

    password sign in

    Hi,

    About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

    If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Click on Sign in options.
    • On the right side, you will see required sign in.
    • Change it to Never.

    Let us know how it goes.
