Windows 10: Can't sign in to Windows. Asks for email then password. This works. Asks for password one...

Hello :I'm at work using a new PC. I clicked on the Windows Shield icon on taskbar. Account protection has an exclamation point on it. I click sign in.I use my personal email and password as requested. It works. Then it asks for password one more time. And it doesn't work. Says invalid password???

Email clients not remembering passwords

Hi all

A friends computer will not remember his gmail password. He used to use outlook, and seeing that I use thunderbird and it would be easier to troubleshoot I installed that for him. Now that was working for a few weeks, and now the same problem is occuring.

We are 100% sure the password is correct, as we can access the email account through webmail, but the local clients will not remember the correct password. Of course the 'Remember password' button is checked, but still no good.

It returns with incorrect password.

Any suggestions?

 

Cortana asks for old password

Cortana on my PC asks for email or phone number and then asks for password. Which password.....my computer starting password or my email password or a new one just for Cortana? In the Next step Cortana asks for the old password one more time, but entering
different ones do not work and entering none of them does not work either. Other people use this computer in my family so I once ended up with only my email address and email password able to start my computer .Is Cortana ever available and ,if so, to just
one, or all of the family?
