Windows 10: Can't sign in to Windows Store

Hello. I'm at my wit's end. I recently had to reinstall Windows 10 (long story for later). I forgot to sign into Windows Store before I put back my data from backups. Now I can't sign in to Windows Store. (Also seems to affect signing into the new Microsoft Edge.) I have basically done everything I can scrounge up including deleting Stored Identities string from the registry. I really need some Windows fu nerdery right now. What do I do? Or do I just nuke from orbit and reinstall AGAIN? O.O Please help. Thanks!

What happens when you try to sign to Windows Store?

Please give us the complete error message if any.

For Windows store issue you may refer the following suggestion:

I would suggest you to refer to the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows +R Keys to open Run command
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and hit enter
  

Now, try to open store and see if that helps.

 

Windows Store sign in issue

• Type troubleshooting in the search box
  and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
