Windows 10: Can't Sign in

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble logging into my laptop. I forgot my PIN, and my laptop insists on using the PIN, as my fingerprint isn't working. To make it more challenging, my laptop requires me to use the PIN to enable the fingerprint.I don't see any option to change the PIN on my screen. I'm stuck and don't know how to get into my laptop. Can someone help me find a way to access it?

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
