Windows 10: Can't sign into Bing www.bing.com in the new Edge after Win 10 20-04 update

After updating to windows 10 20-04, I cannot log into Bing web version, www.bing.com in the new Edge Credge. I am automatically logged into Bing.com with I.E. as should be and I can log into my Microsoft account with the new Edge. It is just Bing that will not log-in nor does it recognize my Bing rewards, it says I am not logged in and errors out when I try to log in.

Remove Bing from new Tabs in Edge

A recent update on Windows 10 (May 2018) has made Edge on my computer open Bing in any new Tab. (Previously new tabs in Edge opened in Google on my computer). How do I stop Bing opening, and get new pages in Google instead?

This has been asked till the cows come home but the answers are scripted and never tested before the response to the question. I know that bing is an integral part of the Edge browser. I create my own search engine in the list but bing won't allow my search
engine to be used. bing won't allow any other search engine to be used. I removed bing from the list and it still somehow grabs the positition of default search engine' grabs my criteria and performs the search. I'm looking to remove bing from searches performed
in the addressbar on my taskbar and the addressbar of the browser.

Please test your answer on a regular Win 10 machine before you reply.

PS. All Windows updates have been done. Brand new machine with Windows 10 retail.
