Windows 10: Can’t sign into my pc or log into boot setting???

Booted up my pc and it says something happened and your pin isn’t available I go to the boot options and when I try to open command prompt it says my password is incorrect but I’m sure it’s correct any one know what to do I’m out of options?

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Can't set up pin for logging on to Windows after PC refresh

We appreciate the effort you have put in to resolve the issue.

At this point, I suggest you to check if the same issue occur when logged in through a different Local Administrator user account.



Follow the steps mentioned below:

• Assuming that you are already logged on to your user account in Windows 10, click the Start button.
• From the Start menu, click your name from the top of the left pane.
• From the displayed options click Sign out.
• From the login screen, click to the different user account you want to switch to.

However, if you do not have a separate user account, I suggest you to create another Local administrator user account by referring to the Microsoft article here: Set
up accounts.

Issues with Verification of Identity on PC Settings and signing in with a local account (Windows 10 on HP Laptop)

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

  When you say “I'm not able to verify my identify under PC Settings”, what is the error message you get?

  Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?
  
• 
  Have you installed all pending updates on the pc?
  
• 
  What is the error message you get with the Local account?
  
• 
  What are all the troubleshooting steps you have performed on the pc?
  
• 
  Is the sync issue specific to mail app?
  

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Admin account to check if this helps.

Some problems can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Sign out. Once you’ve signed out, sign back in to your account.

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

You may boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists. When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the system. These programs
may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically.
