My N8 can't install ovi store

Hi,



I have the same problem.

• Tried reinstalling the firmware, had no effect, via PC suite.
• Tried restoring the phone settings (menu/Settings/Phone/Phone management/Factory settings/Restore), this had no effect.
• Tried a factory reset (menu/Settings/Phone/Phone management/Factory settings/Delete data and restore) this also had no effect.

I am at my wits end don't know what to try next. I have software in my OVI store account that I need to install but I can't because I can't install OVI store.



It all started when I updated OVI store last month and after that it would hang trying to login so I uninstalled it and now I can't install OVI store.



Can anyone suggest where I might have gone wrong and suggest any thing else please?

Windows Store Reset

Why did you delete them?

It wasn't working for me, set up as live tile but not updating the picture. I then went to featured app in the store as you suggested, then ran wsreset and it started working.

Was that your steps? I did read them but I forgot what they are now and I seem to have only done 2 steps.

 

Multiple updates fail, Windows Defender won't start, can't activate

Alright so ... the first step did not work. It got stuck at verification 100 percent and I verified that it was not doing anything else via task manager. The second step, followed by the first step again, also did not work. But the third step did! After running the third step, Windows Defender works, those three updates installed fine and I'm good to go!

Well ... almost. I still can't activate. Does anybody have any advice there? I opened Microsoft Edge, went to the Windows Store app and then checked but I still am not activated. I've tried clicking the activate button around 200 times (had an auto-clicker attempt it, even)

EDIT: The activation error I'm getting is Error code: 0xC004F012 The Software Licensing Service has reported that the call has failed because the value for the input key was not found.
