    Can't start WMDC service Windows 7


    Windows 7 64 bit one user who is administrator. Cant get WMDC to work. I have been into services and made to necessary log on changes OK. When I try and start the service I get this error message.Also if I go into turn and / off windows components the box that lists them is blank - not sure if this is related.

    WMDC Errors, Now Canot Uninstall WMDC Driver Update

    Hi,

    I've tried the above mentioned suggestions on my Win 7 64-bit computer in order to uninstall the WMDC update driver but nothing has worked. I stopped the 2 services listed by Chris and also prevented them from starting up (thru selective startup) but no success.
    Does anyone have any other ideas?

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Can't start WMDC service Windows 7

    Another WMDC 6.1 and Windows 7 problem

    I know there is an endless number of people having problems with this, but I figured I'd post another one to see if I can get some help. So WMDC won't recognize my device. Here are some of the steps I have tried to do but have failed. (I have a Samsung
    Omnia 2 running on Windows 7 x64 OS)

    1. plug in WinMo device, is not recognized and drivers fail to install. Run windows update to install correct drivers. They install correctly, but WMDC still does not recognize. (Done this with both advanced network functionality on and off. When on,
    it installs a "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter". When off, it installs "Samsung MITs USB" but never both at the same time)

    2. Uninstall, reinstall WMDC and retry connecting phone. Doesn't work.

    3. I have looked into the "services" of task manager, and noticed that not only do I not have any Windows Mobile services running, but I have absolutely none listed, this could pose a problem.



    Information on my system:

    x64 Windows 7

    WMDC 6.1 x64

    Microsoft Outlook 2003



    Any help would be appreciated
