Windows 10: Can't stop laptop going to sleep mode after 15 minutes.

I've changed the settings. Didn't work.

Did some Googling and it said to go into RegEdit and make a change there. Which I did. But laptop still sleeps after 15 minutes idle.

Laptop goes to sleep after a minute of no use....


Not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or a laptop issue. I have the sleep mode after no use set to 15 minutes, but lately it goes to sleep after one minute or not moving the mouse or anything. Not sure what the problem and would love to see if anyone here has a solution. Thank you.

This has also occurred on my Toshiba laptop after the recent creators update....have tried most of the suggestions in this thread with no luck....laptop keeps going into sleep mode after 1-2 minutes even though settings are for never.

Please fix Microsoft.

 

Power settings still get ignored - going to sleep mode after 1 minute of inactivity.

This has been an issue since december 2015.

Still doesnt work right.

my machine ignores the windows power settings at times.

it is not supposed to go to sleep mode for 15 minutes or whatever that setting is, but sometimes i step away and after only a minute of inactivity it goes to sleep mode!! why does it do this????? need it fixed. how do i fix it? and i already tried at least
20 solutions and none worked. does anyone know why this never works right?
