    Can’t stream any websites Netflix, itv etc


    My laptop will not let me play any streaming websites such as netflix, itv player, all 4, disney plus. These websites all work on other devices connected to the same internet so something must be blocking these sits working. Any suggestions how to make them work?

    Netflix does not stream readily

    Hi Jack,

    For better assistance, we'd like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Are you encountering the same issue using other browsers?
    • What websites usually don't stream on Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer?
    • Are you getting an error when streaming on Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Netflix app?

    Hi Marshall3,

    There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Netflix app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

    I suggest that you reset your Netflix application by following the steps provided below:

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
    • Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
    • Click Reset.

    If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling and reinstalling the device. To uninstall, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
    • Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Uninstall.

    Let us know how it goes and we'll assist you further if needed.
