Windows 10: Cant switch tabs to task manager, no matter what I try.

    Cant switch tabs to task manager, no matter what I try.


    I've had a horrible time with Windows 10 in the past few hours, I can't switch to my file explorer no matter what I do! I've tried everything I found on the forums, restarted my pc, used the system file checker, nothing.. nothing works whatsoever. If anyone could kindly guide me on how I could fix this issue, I'd absolutely appreciate it.

    Task Manager - Startup tab

    Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

    Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.

    Startup tab in Task Manager empty??


    BUMP! can someone check there startup tab in Task manager and see if it lists any programs with the enable/disable option like in 8/8.1 Thanks!

    Cant switch tabs to task manager, no matter what I try.

    No restart button in task manager

    another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
