Windows 10: Can't transfer Android cellphone photos to PC

Several hundreds of photos on phone can see them in "Google Photos" App}Connected phone* to PC via good USB cableWin 10 opens Photos AppSelecting Moto phone "External device" brings up a TOTAL of six 6 photos ... WTH???Opening "Moto G ...", then DCIM / Camera folders in Win Explorer ... results in "...Folder Empty" ... WTH???Having wasted hours with Motorola [so-called] Support & then Tracfone [so-called] Support, I'm at a stand-still.Anyone have any actual useful suggestions? IMO this really is technology badly-managed, if not totally run amok!!!* Motorola Moto G Power 2022 w/Tr
