Windows 10: Can't turn-off grayscale; NOT to do with the 'ease of access>colour filters' options.

I have some software installed that lets me remap my keyboard; this lets me create a mapping-configuration for my keyboard, which I can freely turn on or off, in which I can assign complex strings of keyboard shortcuts to any one key--as a macro-shortcut--for use in a coding text-editor like Visual Studio. Unfortunately I sometimes forget to turn the mapping-configuration off before I begin typing again outside of the coding text-editor, which means I'll press a key and suddenly a whole string of random instructions will be given to the PC because by pressing that key I have actually activated

settings -> ease of access -> colour filters

under "turn on colour filters"

turn it off

how does it look with colour filters turned off, high contrast turned off and light mode selected?

Hi Kathy,

If your screen is black and White (Grayscale) Press this key combination:

Windows + Ctrl + C

Otherwise:

Open the Settings App:

Go to Ease of Access - High Contrast, set Theme to None

Click Home

Go to Personalisation - Colours

Hover your mouse over the colours and choose 'Default Blue'

Uncheck, 'Pick an accent colour from my background'

Click Themes on the left and select Windows

That should be Windows back to its starting point . . .
